Our refund policy varies depending on when you cancel your booking relative to your scheduled departure date. The following schedule applies to all standard tours and travel packages:

Note: The deposit (20% of the total tour cost) is non-refundable in all cases unless we cancel the tour.
For specialized tours, custom itineraries, or premium services (including but not limited to luxury safaris, expedition cruises, and private charters), different cancellation and refund terms may apply. These terms will be clearly communicated during the booking process and detailed in your confirmation documents.
Typically, custom and premium itineraries have stricter cancellation policies due to the advance arrangements made with various suppliers.

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of confirmation of your cancellation. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original booking whenever possible.
Please note that bank processing times may vary, and it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we have processed it.
In the rare event that we need to cancel your tour, you will be offered the following options:
If we cancel your tour due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (such as natural disasters, political instability, or public health emergencies), we will provide a full refund of all monies paid.
However, we are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, such as visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover such eventualities.
If one or more members of your party cancels, this may affect the overall price for the remaining travelers due to changes in accommodation arrangements or minimum group size requirements. In such cases, we will recalculate the tour cost for the remaining travelers, and cancellation charges will apply for the canceled participants according to our standard schedule.
If you wish to make changes to your booking after confirmation (such as changing dates, destinations, or services), we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. A change fee of £50 per person will apply, plus any additional costs incurred as a result of the change.
Please note that substantial changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, and our standard cancellation charges would apply.

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage. Quality travel insurance can help protect your investment in case you need to cancel your trip due to covered reasons such as illness, injury, or other unforeseen events.
While we can provide information about travel insurance options, the decision to purchase insurance and the choice of provider is entirely yours. Please carefully review any insurance policy's terms and conditions to understand what is covered.
In cases of serious illness or injury preventing travel, we may, at our discretion, offer more flexible refund terms upon receipt of a valid medical certificate. This does not guarantee a full refund but may reduce the standard cancellation charges.
If your travel is significantly affected by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at your destination or its immediate vicinity (such as natural disasters, serious political instability, or significant risks to human health), you may be entitled to cancel your booking without paying cancellation charges.
In such cases, we will provide a full refund but will not be liable for any additional compensation.
For bookings affected by official travel restrictions related to COVID-19 or future pandemics, our specific pandemic policy will apply. This may include flexible rebooking options, travel credits, or modified refund terms. The current pandemic policy will be communicated during booking and is subject to change as the global situation evolves.
If you fail to join a tour, miss the departure, or cannot participate due to incomplete travel documents, you will be considered a 'no-show' and will not be eligible for any refund.
No refunds will be provided for any unused services, accommodations, or features of your tour package. This includes situations where you choose not to participate in certain activities, meals, or excursions that are included in your itinerary, or if you leave the tour early for any reason.
If you are unable to travel, you may transfer your booking to another person who satisfies all the conditions applicable to the tour, subject to the following conditions:
Please note that some suppliers, such as airlines, may consider a transfer to be a cancellation and rebooking, and charges up to 100% of the original cost may apply.
All refunds will be processed in British Pounds (£). If your original payment was made in a different currency, the refund amount may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations.
Any payment processing fees, currency conversion fees, or bank charges deducted from your original payment are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will apply to new bookings made after the revised policy is published. For existing bookings, the refund policy in effect at the time of booking will apply.
